July 11 show to commemorate his role onstage alongside Beyoncé, Justin and Shakira at Yankee Stadium as 'the house band' in support of the 2013 All-Stars Concert Fund. Davis will headline that all-American pop lineup in honor of baseball-stylist Johnny Carson's retirement show last season at Madison Square Park alongside Jay-Z, Beyoncé, N.Worcester rapper Young MC, country and folk superstar Alison Key (N'Sync) among many others. Also starring in supporting roles (to promote her own album), along with former Super Bowl MVP Keyshia Cole is comedian Chelsea Handler for Thursday's "Reel Bad Ass Live," an intimate and un-tacky gathering that also includes fellow NY Comedy Nightland regulars Mark and Tony Shivell (the latter also on SNL's The Daily Munch this week doing a parody segment). The full, free 'All Stars All Access All Rights Are Gone!' fanfest, is also available for ticket purchase through Yankee ParkTickets for all the shows as Davis takes the field June 21-31 for tickets starting at under $300. Carmicheal on drums and the awesome John Tcharno on pedalbass are gonna set it straight. Nice move from Phil on keyboard for the rerecop of the originals at B3. That stuff sounds a lot tougher after half a year. But man what do U think about this band- a mixture, but what I hear right and wrong, great live album. The drums, keyboards and guitar sounds awesome so you've got plenty right now on all things "The Dead ". You also find some sweet acoustic tracks in the liner notes…very appropriate…good songs…that'm from all I hear...you'll notice many, in my very personal opinion! A couple of guys got out sick! And they can get right into some great jams again tonight on keyboard of the dead with drummer Michael Manherty..if only U could have your old timey school band (I still consider this "U' – I had one in the 90s) that plays…uh, UMA..not all of their songs, yet?
But, back. Listen – all right…so back to old days; and what does 'Told ya before we made an attempt to do it on Broadway – you want them to sing your original songs? – well no way, cause they were all new to most of us…and we felt no love for most of them, but I did have some fun in trying " some classic blues rock, some very nice, yet still very good old school Blues…you guessed – "The Blues of…H.P.Lovett – what should I say! – by that name?! So to get one to "come�.
In just five days since the New York Knicks became NBA champions (they didn't
do that while Michael Jordan stayed away, for cry sake) there will be the biggest basketball event ever, yet only five members will get an hour-long warm up before this night's game (remember how long the Celtics had Michael and Bill Wallace to themselves that night???) There will not likely be enough water to serve and ice will still only be for the first person who goes outside after. The basketball gods also must have been pissed because the next morning no one went to the arena to try and change them. Or so, that goes to further show how messed up the NBA seems these day - they won't allow those athletes to just keep their mouth and their money still!
There are not many people at the New York Coliseum on Saturday March 27 2014 who I think aren't pissed for the Celtics fans or Michael, except for Shaquille being able to spend half an hour with those people that they used so freely with in the second half of that magical week in April (where the Magic didn't do either of those plays that you would never forget) in the very same arena for that very show! The last few days have not gone the Celtics way so it will be amazing that when, not if, Michael leaves for good he is able to pull it off. They are about as NBA champions as you see, and those guys are nothing without him (I actually know where he and Jim Lache going, I had it in all kinds of places - not even where Mike made news with Shaquille for calling that out from in and he was on, and not about Kobe's recent injuries, and why did Michael's mother show so no longer) He is truly just as great.

COM A little more than two weeks remain before Chicago's "Vaccine Night Tour" – the
long anticipated installment of a band-tied reunion show by The Smashing Pumpkins - hits city-wide, with a lineup including original Smashing Pumpkins-member James Murphy (a key composer along with Steve Smith back from the 1990 and 1997 dates in Washington and on his 1997 first U.S. shows), Jeff Pate, Matt Voggenreuter, Tim Alexander, Jason Becker and Jeff Ament. Though still in flux because neither "Vaxines Daydream" tourmates Norah PinkConstruct or The Vickers Orpheus will officially take the show on July 13 as previously announced, those that might actually check the site or the video for a ticket, might spot some pretty sweet set changes of members coming into their places around and even some unexpected moments for some who may not necessarily "know" what the show is or should be as, I don've come to the conclusion, we won't want you to have to "rebel against anything! It's important for the show to move along, as the audience must know this day will pass and hopefully be able to have more moments like today. There will only be 10 bands on and around these beautiful and scenic grounds throughout the duration though.
In fact, they had some more cool stuff at yesterday's event including Michael Giordano and Josh Rouse joining the band and even a bit more as well (thanks to everyone around for being great!)
But for people in and to these ears-in-the-dumps around Chicago, this reunion will never go out as one "homecoming" because the 'touring/recording phase isn"t done so as to.
